If jumping right into the thick of things and getting your hands dirty on the job is the way you like to learn, then you might be interested in a registered apprentice program.
Registered apprentice is a community-based training program that allows you to receive a combination of on-the-job training and related technical instruction in your chosen industry.
As an apprentice you will:
To be an apprentice you generally must be at least 16 years of age (18 for hazardous occupations). Apprentice programs last between one and six years. At the end of your instruction you will receive an Apprenticeship Completion Certificate that is a recognized credential in your occupation of choice.
